Went out to El Toro Airbase this weekend to run with a bunch of classic muscle cars at the Run to the Coast event by the American Street Car Series. Yes I was the odd man out.

The car performed quite well. I only got about 3-4 attempts at the auto-x course which changed configuration after my first two runs, and about 2.5 laps on the road course.

The car was strongest in the Drag/Slalom event where it went undefeated simply because I was able to hook up better than the high HP classics.

Footage was filmed on a GoPro Hero2 and was edited with iMovie. First time using both. The audio was not usable when the GoPro was mounted on the outside of the car. You really need an external mic.

nice! A friend of mine also was at that event.. he had the blue C5 Z06 with the supercharger (according to him, that's his "slow" car, lol).

HERE are times for the event.

They won't post my times because I was driving a non-American car, but I did run a 21.14 in the Drag/Slalom event. Not bad

looks like they posted your times with "exhibition" next to your name. Unless there was another '07 BMW there

Yep, they finally put me on there. Not bad for one lap of the road course, and first time on auto-x and not knowing where the final beam was as evidenced by the video.
