For those of you who havent done this mod, its a must. I've been using Axxis Deluxe brake pads for the past 10 years in all my BMWs. As many of you know, the OEM brake pads give off a tremendous amount of brake dust. While the stopping power is excellent, cleaning rims every few days aint a lot of fun. I can easily go multiple weeks without having to clean my rims and when I do, its only a very thin layer of mostly clear dust.

There are a few different ceramic brake pads that give off way less dust than OEM and that also provides excellent braking as well. I've been using Zeckhausen for many years and just wanted to give a shout out to them. They've always shipped out the same day for me and I just received my new pads for my X5 that I ordered yesterday. Dave is very knowledgeable about brakes in general as well as all the products he sells.

I'll be installing the new pads next weekend at the NCC DIY, but the real fun is afterwards when I bed them in

Thanks Pseto, I talked to Dave. He is definitely very knowledgeable on brakes. I might consider order mine over the weekend and get it here by next week so I join you at the NCC DIY.

Thanks for the info. Would this increase stopping power/performance as well as reduce brake dust?
