Steering Wheel Controls Don't Work?
So I had some extensive engine work done recently, head gasket.. After getting the car back I noticed the steering wheel controls do not work. No volume control, no next/previous track.. etc.
I don't think my mechanic messed with any electrics other than to disconnect battery and connectors in engine bay. Car is fantastic other than the steering wheel controls, any ideas? |

Were you able to solve your problem? I had removed my radio and the center console now my steering wheel controls don't work and my paddle shifters also don't work. If you solve the your problem please let me know what it was so I could start somewhere.

I have not solved it. I really don't know how this occurred as my radio was not removed. Just a basic battery disconnect for a head gasket repair.
Mechanic said it's clock spring, I have not done research on that yet. |

if your mechanic had to drop the PS rack then they may have removed the steering wheel. I had my turbos replaced and my steering wheel controls stopped working also.
