Do you know which of the three possible systems

Do you know which of the three possible systems
you have.
I think I read somewhere if you use the BaV Sound selector
they do not have the under seats as a choice for the base
system.

Base system modification could be solved with a Bimmertech
base system kit.(helix 82dsp plus harness and tune)

I would put the original subs back or

I would put the original subs back and see if the doors
come back. If the parallel connection between the floors and the doors
is at the sub connector on your car you may need to have the original
subs installed to get any door sound. Then I would call or email bavsound
for there take on the problem. Its possible that the head unit or idrive just
went into shutdown mode due to overcurrent and needs to be unloaded(if you didn't make in wiring errors)
to start working again. This would be better served if you started a seperate
thread since the topic is not speaker preferences.

If you have an ohm meter you might want to read the static ohms on the
old speakers versus the new for the floors.

"The Ghost Underseat Subwoofer Upgrade Kit utilizes your factory amplifier to generate amazing bass response in your BMW. To do so, BAVSOUND designed their woofers using technologies like oversized neodymium magnets and lightweight poly cone to maximize every watt of power they generate and translate that into raw output. That means amazing bass response without replacing your amplifier. Depending on your audio system, your factory BMW woofers come in 2, 4, or 8 Ohm impedance. BAVSOUND's woofers are matched to the impedance of your factory woofers (they have different versions for each) to maximize performance and ensure the longevity of your factory amplifier."

It also says at there web site they make the under seats
in 2 ,4 and 8 ohm . Did you get the right ones as they list
the 4 's for the base system.

I would call them or email them.
Basic troubleshooting backtrack from the place where
the error occured.

Hi ctuna, thanks for your help, i will try to put the original sub tomorrow to see if something change. I exclude wiring errors because the speakers have the same connectors, so it's basically plug and play.

I've already sent a mail to them, waiting for reply..
thanks again, i will start a new thread as soon as they reply
