GruppeM or whatever brands out there, does carbon fibre really insulate heat and makes it the ideal material for a cold air intake. I thought the primary purpose of carbon fibre is strength+light weight. Has it also been proven that it also is effective for insulating heat in a cold air intake?

It doesn't matter what it's made out of, any air moving though it isn't in contact with it long enough to have the temperature change much.

From the picture,
the air box looks similar to Gruppe M's design.
I would expect for some good hp gain from this intake since Gruppe M can have 12 hp gain.

OEM scoops are the same size. This will allow perfect fitment.

You will not need a seal box, since the intake fits snugly and the box is covered by the plastic from inside the fender. No hot air should enter the intake.

Expensive? Well I hope it's at least reasonably expensive...
Otherwise I'm just gonna pull the trigger on a Simota intake soon

I said the 335i intake will be expensive. The non-335i one will be reasonably priced.

dont worry if they are too expensive, the market will adjust the price!
if they dont sell good with the high price, the company who sells those intakes definately gonna drop the price, it's simple economic.
