There should be some big-ass steels supporting a cantilever of that magnitude.

LOL good find .. read that this morning on BBC news.
Did look a little strange considering that , well , there aint that much snow on the roof and the roof is still intact. Bet he's sh1tting himself over buildings insurance |

My folks next door neighbour has a similar contraption attached to the side of their house. We call it the west wing and often watch it flap in the wind. It didn't need planning permission.
