So am I reading this correct the 2007 335is had the n54 than switched to the n55 than eventually went back to a newer n54 again?

I ask bc a good friend is looking at a used 2007 335is and he races a lot of autocross and I told him from what I remember the n54 was superior but I didn't realize the is went back to the n54??

They didn't make a 335is until 2011 and they all have n54s in them.

Yeah you're right he called me back right after saying it was just a 335. Idk where he got the 335is from.

He's a huge mustang guy and he races a lot of autocross, ect. so I'm looking forward to seeing what he does with this 335. Be on the look out for it, its a 2007- looks silver (light blue even) from the pics don't know what that color is called.

I already had the car coded while I was in Los Angeles. Is there any way to code off the thing that turns on the high beam when having the turn signal on? That drives me insane.

While in LA, I had the B3 flash, DVD in motion, disclaimer turned off, mph added in cluster, and some key fob functions.

did you install your VRSF IC? I am wanting one for mine but didn't know how much cutting would be needed. Is yours the 7"?

Just an update on this dealer for anyone in the area.

After posting a negative review on their facebook page, with a link to the entire story on my site, I got a call from David Surguine, who is the new GM of this dealership. The Hixson family fired the old GM and brought in David to fix things. It appears they also fired the SA who 'helped' me.

David seemed genuinely concerned and disconcerted with my experience, gave me his cellphone number, and said he is working to turn the dealer around He said he's been there about two weeks now, and wasn't aware of my particular experience until I posted it on their FB. He also said he'll be talking with the service manager and the tech that worked on my car to see what the breakdown was.

That really doesn't help my experience, but it is good to know they're trying to turn it around.

Hey how's everyone doing? Can anyone help me out? I'm looking for a reputable shop in Nola/wb area that can install coilovers for a f10 535. Had one shop quoted me about 250 and another quoted me around 850 for install and alignment and I think it's wayyy to much even tho I know they have experience to do the job. Any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

Bimmerworks in Harahan, about 10 mins from clearview ask for Logan, he does great work.

Some of you may know this but I'm parting out. I need a stock e92 335i exhaust. 600 for my vanguard v2 for exchange of stock exhaust. Or 800 for exhaust if no stock exhaust. Vanguard has gone up in price due to the true performance and sounding and quality if the exhaust. Lmk thx. Downpipes and fmic are sold. Cobb is sold to MKAH. kW v1 still for sale aswell as BMW performance non electric steering wheel v2 with blue strip blue bottom. Wheels are for sale aswell. 2500 with great tires and tpms.

Also my M3 GTS Clubsport RPK wing is for sale. I can do 500 if we exchange trunks. Has to be alpine white. Wing retails for $2000. It was professionaly installed by Robbie.R at Nola motorsports so it is bolted tight and will not have any water leaks. Wing has been mounted to the most appropriate spot for maximum downforce of this wing.

IDK if they do or not but i'm going to go Wednesday when I have some time and check it out. The sticker was $78k and it did seem to have a good amount of options/packages so it doesn't seem that high, a good starting point.


Does any one here have a blacked out E92 M3 and was driving by the lake yesterday? How about a newer Blk M5 that's only had it since late last year? I see the M5 driving in Metairie every now and then. First time I saw that M3 though.

Yes I'm going to see if they will let me drive it. I'm guessing no since they won't want to put miles on it or at least I wouldn't anyway.

I didn't realize they were going to be that fast in the 1/4. That's almost a full second faster then the e92 M3.
