Isn't BMS working on an actual meth kit for the D?

Why? Diesels are a niche market, especially in N.America so most tuning companies don't see a big enough yield ($$$) on their investment return.

BMW Is working on other stuff and this has taken a back burner...
That said, you can buy a water/meth kit from Snow Performance. You can buy an extra charge pipe from Tisher so you can tap it into and return you car to stock for service. http://www.snowperformance.net/bmw-diesel-all-models |

I am not sure if it's snow performance, cooling mist or devils own - I think he has cooling mist. In either case they all do pretty much the same thing. Snow Performance is one of the leaders in the market.

That particular vehicle has a Snow controller utilizing the MAP sensor, with an AEM 550 ml/min nozzle, AEM flow gauge, and a 250psi (http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.c...c29/index.html) pump. Utilizes the existing washer fluid reservoir. Kind of a cobbled together system.

The meth kit is on the car, yes, but Terry hasn't had a chance to take it to the dyno yet, or do any fine tuning. He worked fast, let me tell you...lol.

BMS adapted their WW kit for use on the 335D. It uses their FSB progressive controller which is run by the JBD and feeds fluid from the WW tank. Other than installing the nozzle in the charge pipe the install takes 20 minutes or so.
They did some dyno testing using a 50/50 mix and a CM10 nozzle which is fairly safe for the street. Gains were around 20whp over the JBD alone. This particular car was only able to run around 80% on the JBD this time around without tripping a fuel pressure code. Overall I understand the car feels a lot faster on the street and for the minimal effort involved BMS thinks the kit may interest a few hard core 335D guys. The kit price is $479 including the controller and all required parts. Mike |

Nice Mike and thanks to Ronin. Other the hp increase there is a big benefit as it relates to reducing egt"s. How does the controller connect to the jbd?
Does anyone know how much a stock charge pipe costs? |

When you say 479 for everything, that does not include the charge pipe, correct? Do you gents think you'll be selling charge pipes with pre-installed bungs, etc as you do for the n54/55 engines? Cheers

I think the charge pipe is number 12 in the below assembly, no?
http://parts.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/s...ssembly=422162 If so, Tischer's price is $202.94. |
