Update 2/10/12
Current black headlight build with Umnitza, currently waiting on my multi color LEDs. Need help on lighting opinions. I was recommended that the inner headlight chrome reflector should not be blacked out due to the light reflection not hitting the road and area as much than chrome. Would blacking out the chrome reflector make a difference? I was told it wouldn't make a difference and it should be alright and I said I could pay to have it redone since they said "it can not go back to original". Come on man, I'm paying enough money I want my build MY WAY, I want customer f*cking satisfaction. I'm only venting a bit because they told me and we agreed to not black that part out. But since that is only for high beam purposes and I RARELY use high beam. Should I even be mad? Last edited by Route 16; 02-10-2012 at 06:41 PM.. |

Satin black for sure, Umnitza did all that work, if it were me I'd do gloss black but I figured it's ok, you won't really see the grey unless you really look and the Orions will be too bright anyway. But these are temporary for a year until I do OSS in 2013.

Any updates on these/ finished product? I've had the same headlights for a while now and am going to black them out myself this thanksgiving. Would be cool seeing some finished product before I start my little project!
