+1 Getting an x-pipe will make it sound much better than an H-pipe from my experience...But either one will get rid of that god aweful pulsating exhaust sound...

If he leaves it this way, his neighbors will definitely hate him.l

It kind of reminds me of my old cammed 5.0... Sounds mean. Definitely want to hear some outdoor, high rev clips. I'm guessing this isn't a DD....

U wont need X pipe if u use quailty muffler..Eisenmann is just a perforated straight thru no chambering..

AE setup is complete separate pipes and sounds nothing like that.

You are right, better mufflers would help. But, that would just disguise the issue. Equalizing pulses will really smoothen it out. I've built enough exhausts with my buddy to know.

I would agree that would be more critical if we were dealing w/ an N/A setup but less important w/turbos..its ALL about the mufflers..I have complete divorced piping and sounds very smooth..

I'm actually getting rid of my AEs for Eisenmann Race. E92s don't have a crosspipe or resonators though so I'm wondering if it would sound like his.

sounds scary. If you wanted loud you should be happy. I think it could use refinement, resinotor/ x pipe or something. Try not to get a ticket with that thing. It will real hard to keep a cop from searching for stuff like a nos bottle, Meth, pcv by pass and the rest of that no legal stuff. I was thinking about mid pipes but I may just go with a muffler upgrade instead after hearing this.

i dont think that updating exhaust is very important mod, this is last mod in my list, maybe if you want only loud sound and atract others people attention (get catless dps leave all stock piping for time beeing enough) there is better perform mods to get for 1k instead of spending it on exhaust
