As much as I am looking forward to my new car, I am not yet convinced it looks as sporty as my E46. Like you say, more a grand tourer?

What's your company's problem with two doors, for goodness sake, btw?!

We have a similar ruling with 2 doors. The reasoning is that the car is more difficult to pass on to someone else (if you leave) if it only has two doors.

Our company has a policy of no 2 doors and no petrol engines. Fantastic policy as far as I can see - no issues with reallocating, cheaper fuel costs, and of course if you offer two door cars do you allow convertibles / coupe convertibles?

Mind I made up the policy so I wouldn't complain about it would I!

Hi and welcome. Congrats on your new coupe. The first pic really captures the profile of it very well.

Other than the Auto, that is the exact same spec, colour, wheel choice I am going to order. Great choice, great car!

I am holding off 'til next year though cos I want to see the MSport option...

We aren't allowed 2 door cars as we may need to take clients out for lunch etc...

And when we ferry any equipment (like laptops/PC base stations) we need to be able to get them in and out without getting a hernia!

We can't have convertibles within my division as they are classified as a security risk which the underwriter won't insure. However if I was to work for another division you can have any car but you need to insure it yourself.

Smile

Go for the 4 door mate ... I have no restrictions on my company car policy and still went for the 4 door as love the shape and body.

PLUS ... you can't get an M Sport Coupe ... yet !

PLUS ... you can get a good discount on the 4 door, but very little I would imagine on the coupe

PLUS ... the 4 door is cheaper !

Now in a couple of years when i am ready to change, it will be a different story and i may then opt for the Coupe as all the above may deminish !

M Sport Coupe 335i sat on 19" rims ...

Its seems 3 or 4% is the best on a coupe (I got 3.3%) but 12% is attainable on a 4 door
That discount = the price of sat nav & leather.
