Just got quoted 1,200 EUR to fit new suspension..

I asked my local BMW dealer to change the stock suspension on my 320D for the BMW Performance suspension. Cost of performance kit is 1,400 EUR and labour costs are 1,200EUR. They say it would take all day but do you think that this labour cost is too much.
I think I might just go for coilovers instead. Are coilovers easier to fit? Has anyone experienced KW V2 coilovers on a 320d or 330D? How do thy feel?
I'm just thinking that the labour costs of teh performance upgrade makes it worthwhile to go the full monty and get the coilovers? Advice?

that is far too much!!! I had a KW clubsport installed including swaybars (for the rear swaybar the rear axle needs to be lowered on the E92, not sure if this is the case for the E90). I was done in 5 hours, including alignment. Paid not even half of the 1'200 EURO.

An hour per corner maximum plus re alignment. Depends on the hourly rate your local BMW are charging in Finland. But agree 5 hours has to be the max all in.

Can't see KW coilovers taking any more or less time to fit.

DIY i would have thought, changing the springs/shocks is not the biggest job ever, set aside 6 hours, big jack, axle stands, socket set, few other tools and spring tensioners, save a lot of money, i also believe there is a DIY thread on here to replace them.

Yep I knew it was too much. They said the job would take 8 hours. Anyway I got a quote from a reputable garage and they say 400 EUR for the work. Mad that this BMW is charging so much. I'll be going with the coilovers as well.
