Anderson BMW Crystal Lake
Had to bring my car in because i started throwing hard codes.(2CFB,2D09) the Tech Joe, came up to me asked me to be honest with him if i had a tune. I said I did. he asked what it was and told him. He said good then i wont flash the DME and find it that way.
You have some alarms listed them off. We will cover it under warranty, you were honest with me we will do what we can to keep everything under warranty. They are replacing the LPFP which is upgraded and putting back to stock ( under warranty )( through a code 38 times) and he thinks that will take care of the codes from this morning, if not he will have to replace parts in the throttle body. I will say that this is the best experience i have had with a tech. I will always bring my car back here now.

Mercedes gave me when I was 14 a Crazy expensive remote control car. It was a huge car was selling for 600.00. I told the guy I wanted it and he did. 10 years later I still have it and my nephew plays with it. I should've traded it in after 4 years lol

Sounds like they might have changed, but I will never go back to them or recommend them. They denied warranty work (frozen tie rod nut) due to my aftermarket suspension and even wrote that on my paperwork which is illegal (EG Magnuson Moss-Act). I contacted BMWNA and they offered to pay for the parts and the airfreight so I can do the install myself. I think some heads rolled. Also, prior to this experience Anderson would always comment on any warranty work; "Could not duplicate customer concerns".
I recommend Schaumburg...1000x better.

I have dealt with many many car dealerships. I have to say that Knauz BMW (and their service dept.) is second to none.

Man, I looked at buying a used E60 M5 from them last summer and they were just awful. Salesperson was not any good, and then they trotted out the sales manager to pull the usual tactics and try to intimidate me. Horrible experience and I will never return, nor would I recommend them to anyone. Three hours of my life I'll never get back.
