On the other side , I think we will get bored with the stage 2`s at some point and start aiming for more ... thank you VTT stage 3

And for you guys in the US , stop complaining , you have plenty of other n54`s to sell your mods to if you ever decide to upgrade. Over here in polarbear country , there is like 10 n54`s in the whole country , we have like 3 here in my town and around 5 in the car classifieds. The n54 info from national forums at home is like a big black hole , nothing ever come in return....

I so wish I lived in the US....

Then my car would cost me new , what 40 000 $ fully loaded ?

Here its 190 000 $ Yes e have wonderful taxes here....

And people in the US thinking Im mad using so much money on a N54 , why not buy a M3.

Well , its only 300 000 $ fully loaded....

So the few $$$$ spent on mods still makes sense...

And you guys have great resell value on your mod items , here its half price and way below , just if its used once.

And we dont have people like Shiv , Mike , Tony , Dzenno and all the other guys putting stuff together for us guys.

Just look at the prices on tuning mods in Europe , intake 92fan got , craaaaazy price.

Be grateful

No back on topic , any more beta testers feel like feeding some info to us mortals ?
While I sympathize that you are paying so much for your car, which is an insane amount of money, do you folks at least know, where the money is going?

BMW may be charging a little more for a smaller car market, but likely it is mostly your local duties at work? I think in Australia, cars are roughly 200% of US prices, but yours look like over 400%.

Someone is making a lot of money on your account.

Here , have fun with this , this is from Norwegian customs page , in english.

Here you put in price of car , from your country , registration date , weight , emmisions , and horsepower. Based on this information they charge you 25% VAT just for the "goods" that the car is when taking it inside Norway. Then the fun customs tax for emmisions weight and HP . The page does not show the VAT when using foreign currency , and it shows the customs tax only and in Norwegian currency NOK. But you get the picture. The newer the car , the more more tax you pay. They deduct for every year 15% of the total tax amount. So using 40 000 $ as a base , that will give you 130 000 just in VAT and customs taxes...

I got the accessport up and running this weekend. @JoshBoody is the man! He's assisting with his cobb+procede experience. Fueling has been fixed, but before I push the car I'm going to install the upgraded PCV valve and replace both vanos solenoids. After that the car should be golden

I'm running one of his custom meth maps and my car feels great while using less meth too!

Curious as to why you are replacing the vanos solenoids. Just preventive maintenance.....?

Im doing the vanos solenoids too , BMW released new updated ones with better flow , thats the info I got. Plus I got a pinch code related to solenoids too so better change them before it turns ugly.

I'm throwing 3100 and 2A87 (this happened before cobb - not related to it). So it's time to replace them. I'm still on the original ones at 95k miles

I just threw in some numbers but for a new car rated at 300hp and some obscure c02/n0x info gets this, lmao. Its a million dollar bmw. And I thought our country was fucked up. Who passed this legislation?

The numbers are in NOK , the norwegian currency. The car alone would be around 400 000 NOK , or 68 000 $ , then you can add a fixed 25% VAT on this plus the custom tax.

Yes , its crazy ... And on top of this we have a annual road tax of 600$ and in every city then bombard us with toll roads and city limit charge everytime you go to town by car.

And our fuel prices are double of what you have.

Hehehe , shoot me now....

Here , I`ll show you in NOK

Car is 400 000 roughly with fully loaded equipment and extras

The end amount you see is total , pretty close to a million NOK

In dealership inside Norway you pay even more.

This is little cheaper cause its based on importing myself.

But the amount 525 876,00 NOK is what the government steals from us.

More than the care is worth.... Close to 100 000 $ in taxes ...
