Never. They need to keep leading with their angel eyes which were THE first of the unique drl type lights on the front. They've finally made them absolutely optimal with the LCI e92 and the F10.
So many cars have straight bar or some sort of line of LEDs...S class, e class, 997, Cayenne, Saab, every Audi, and so on. It's so commonplace and retarded. BMW needs to not follow that trend no matter how good they look on the R8 and S5. |

No, LEDs are so easy to imitate. You can put a light strip on the front of any POS, I see it all the time.
Corona rings on the other hand are pretty unique, and a bit harder to put on anything other than a BMW.

BMW should keep improving their angel eyes. The Gran Coupe has very modern, high-tech looking angel eyes - hopefully they trickle down to other models.

They were unique when Audi first came out with them, but now EVERYONE jumped on the bandwagon and it got old real fast. The new refreshed Lexus IS has them now too...

A string of Christmas lights? On my tree, not on my car.

No. Audi, Benz, Porsche, and Lexus all have the same effect now, never mind all the morons who add them to their cars. I'm already sick of it. BMW just needs to spread the new LED angel eyes around the entire lineup. Unique and timeless.

BMW doesnt need to follow other carmakers with LED Strips.
They stuck with the idea of side markers on the body rather than the mirrors.

well, if they did they'd come up with a unique idea, not strips
