New Professional Radio Install
Anyone try to swap a new Professional Radio P/N 65129263474 into an LCI?
This is the radio with integrated Sirius. Trying to figure out what I need to connect the shark fin and anything else I may need. Also assuming this unit has HD. Will dealer code this? I have a 2009 E90 with a 2/2009 build date.

I assume so... It's the 2010+ version of the radio.
Thought BT was tied into the telematics module someplace.

I do know it would need coding.
I want to find out what other hardware might be needed as the pre 2010 units had the SAT module in the trunk. The 2009 LCI may break this out in the dash but unsure. Anyone done the swap? (The dealer will do this so there must be a tech note someplace on parts). Would rather not pay $1500 for the privilege. Also been told that for some reason I cannot use the trunk module to get SIRIUS but cannot verify. Would be nice to just add satellite radio and possibly HD.

If your car would have came with the module in the trunk rather than built into the head unit, you have to change the production date then youd have to change the vo and recode.
