Hi there,

can someone please let me know where i can download via BT or sharing for v14; just bought a bimmer and it only has v10 dvd...

please help!

I downloaded the files from the previous post but my 2005 750i wont recognise the CD....

Are you sure you downloaded the right version for the 7 series?
There are at least 3 different versions that I know of: 1-Professional (Purple DVD), 2-Business (Green DVD), 3-Red DVD?

Check your original DVD.

Does anyone know what type of DVD is used for the Nav disk? I want to make a backup of my disk and I can't work out if it's DVD +R, -R etc etc.

ebay seller mikero777 is a scamming dog. dont buy from this guy
bmw dealerships are just as bad with their overpricing. dont buy from them either

heres an idea....

when you take your car in for a service, also book a loan car for the day. it costs about $100 i think. ask for one with sat nav and latest maps and say you need it for work or something

then drive home, copy the dvd and upload it for everyone else.

I know for a fact that dealerships make fk all on sales of navigation discs to the public. It's BMW Australia who is making all the profits to the dealership. Always cracks me up when I hear they're reasoning for such inflated prices.

That's the same with all BMW parts from my experience. I find that in many cases I can buy cheaper than an Australian dealer's cost from BMW UK. All the margin sits with BMW Aus and the dealers can't do anything about it, if they get caught grey importing parts (as one did) BMW Aus recind their franchise.

Update - to anyone looking for ebay disks:
mikero777 is using a few new seller id's
car_media_sale is the new id for selling nav disks across a wide range of cars

his sole positive feedback is hockeymik, an id this guy appear to use to buy hockey and camera gear - no seller feedback

BEWARE - IT IS THE SAME SCUMBAG!

Pretty funny, BMW charge $600 for GPS disc, for $450, you can pickup the state of the art GPS device such as the Garmin 3790T.

It's as thin as an iPhone, 3D terrain, red light cameras, FM receiver to get traffic updates, and on top of that it has world class voice recognition. For example I can say "Voice Command -> Places -> McDonalds" and it would locate me all the nearest McDonalds store. It also mimicks the iPad in that you can zoom in and out of maps using hand gestures.

Hi all, seems as though i came to the thread late, I am looking for latest disc for business navigation. I have a paid rapidshare account. If some one is willing to let me download from somwhere happy to upload the business and pro disks, which have no expiry on rapidshare. Let me know happy to help!
