I put stp octane boost in my 2003 bmw 530i with my last fill up of 93 octane gas. Since then, I have driven about 30 miles and i can smell a burning smell when stationary. The engine does not appear to be overheating. Should I siphon the gas out? Or is it safe to run the tank empty? Will I fry the catyltic converter?
