More Power = wheel hop
Hello!
Im currently on FBO and pushing quite a bit of power over stock. My questions is what are my next steps to keep the wheels on the ground and catching. Currently the only mod I have is HR lowering springs. Stock struts. I have the Alpina b3 flash for my auto tranny. So I know right off the bat I will be doing: -Koni Yellows (any other better shocks for this goal?) -New tires that are non eft (any recommendations on something really good?) (Florida car not driven daily but still don't want drag tires as I do drive it around the city) -I always hear to do M3 suspension, but what exact components? Is BMW OEM M3 parts really better than aftermarket? -Any other ideas? Thanks! |

new shocks/struts and tires is a good start. rear subframe bushing inserts (or M3 subframe bushings) would help a lot with the wheel hop too.

Honestly Im not 100% sure it feels like hop but what I think I'm going to do is swap out my tires first before i drop this much on something like this. Although, Im sure this will be needed when the time comes.. Thanks

I was getting wheel hop up to 70 mph...very surprised I didn't break a axle. Thus kit eliminated all wheel hop and actually helped the car launch. Great mod!

This kit completely eliminated my wheel hop. It did add some NVH to my car so be prepared for this possibility. Totally worth the trade off IMO.
