Anyone running 285/30r20 in the rear on a e92?

The tire size recommended for the wheels I bought is 285/25r20 but I want a little more side wall and I was wondering if anyone ever got this tire size to fit? Please let me know. Thanks.

I'm running 275/30/20 in the rear right now. Are you lowered?

I own a 2007 335i on stock sports suspension. I'm pretty sure the 275/30 will fit but I wonder if I can make 285/30 fit with just rolling the quarter panels

I want to do the same badly...I have 285/25/20 and want more sidewall but would this match up with my 245/30 in front? I was considering going to a 295/25/20 PSS because the PSS have more sidewall.

I have 42 offset as well

I think the rear tires will be a little taller than the front if u go with 285/30, but not by much. I'm probably going to try it out and hope it works. I'll let u know

please et me know, what tires are you going to be running? I am using nitto invo right now. Keep in mind a E90 has more width clearance by a few MM than the E92 but that shouldn't effect height.

You should be good. Just keep in mind your increased tire height if/when you decide to lower. You might get a little rub from the tires. But a nice roll would prob fix that, or adding and additional camber (nothing major just like .25 of a degree which honestly is nothing. Keep in mind you can put your e92 -3 and it can be FULLY within factory specs. I know BMW did it for me)

You would probably run into the tire being too wide if you were going to go with the 295 tire. But I'm not 100%. I know you can run 275/30/20 with H&R Race springs on a 10.5 (+42) with no problem.
