HELP: Coding logic 7 to Hi Fi
Hi all, I have some experience in coding as I have coded corner delete and changed battery type however im trying to code my Radio to HIFI as several posts suggest this will give me low level balanced output which is better for aftermarket stereo system.
So far this is what I found out and just needed some clarification. Do I just remove $677 which is logic 7 from VO then add $676 which is hifi to CAS FRM/NFRM? please let me know if that's all or if there is more. Car is 06 e90 logic 7 non Nav.

Update
I eventually tried adding $676 and remove 677 from CAS and FRM however no difference. I only seem to have a 2URAD and this is what it reads in the pic:

Think I figured it out, found another post that explains that you have to then change ECU to 2URAD and change job to SG_CODIEREN then execute job.

I didn't have to change any code as just added the new VO remove the old update CAS and FRM with new VO and then code 2URAD without changing options then it worked. Previous posts says there is no need to change any options.

Yes I did code 2URAD with NCSexpert. Radio is now hifi and plays through custom RCA harness I made.

Below is a link to a guide I used to change the VO for my radio. Keep in mind My car had logic 7 and no Navi. So depending on what you have some ecu or modules may be different, For my car I had to remove $677 which is logic 7 and added $676 which is HI FI then code to CAS and repeat for FRM.
http://www.trevorloken.com/bmw/NCS_C..._Order_CAS.pdf I would suggest you print the guide above and once you code your CAS at the end click change ECU and select FRM or NFRM whichever you have and repeat step 17 to 20 and this will change the VO. After changing VO, change ECU to 2RAD or 2URAD and change job to SG_CODIEREN then execute job Note that im doing this from memory so may not be as detailed but as close as I can remember. Keep in mind once you do this your radio now sends low output signal and your current system may not work until you get a rca harness and hook up amplifiers to this.

Hey, I'm having trouble getting my logic 7 headunit to output audio thru rca. I followed the steps and my CAS and FRM are $676 now, and all values in 2URAD are showing as HIFI. I have the 6cd changer and satellite radio, maybe that's why? I saw some ppl saying you need to code CAPPL and some other things, but not sure what I need to do for that.

Hi Fi outputs should be independent of all the Most Bus stuff because of there working
it's analog. How did you tap the signals out . There are no RCA's the head Unit the two wires out for each channel are like speaker out's with reduced voltage if you are using any of the BMW head Units. https://pinoutguide.com/Car-Stereo-A...t_pinout.shtml |
