Since I'm replacing my dampers and springs, I was inspecting my other suspension pieces in case I needed to replace anything else. I noticed that the ball joint on the front lower control arm had been damaged. The funny thing is this was replaced back in March. I've been experiencing vibrations/thumping noises when I brake during highway speeds. Is this the culprit?

(I apologize for the poor photos)

Guess it's an excuse to upgrade to m3 bits

Check the nut torque on that bad boy when removed. Curious - outta spec?

The possibility of a damaged control arm ball joint causing vibrations/thumping noises while braking during highway speeds?? Unpossible!!
