Yes you can discount them like cars, if you know how to bargain of course.

my family has a '00 yamaha xl700 couple hundred over invoice

and '05 sea doo gtx-4TEC

I recommend yamaha for handling and seadoo for speed

It's amazing how hitting water at 50+ mph feels more like hitting a concrete slab.

i would imagine it wouldnt be too bad, you would probably just skid across the water, ive fallen off tubing before when we were going fast skipped 3 times before plunging under

oh yea, that happened to be too, but its not as dangerous as say jumping off a bridge and hitting the water at the same speed flat THATS what gets you hurt

My buddies jet ski hits around 65. I think it has around 180hp, it's pretty crazy. I didn't have the pleasure of falling off at any speed but I did smack the water while wakeboarding and that fawking hurt. Doing close to 40 trying to attempt a switch foot(cut me some slack, I'm still a beginner) ended my day. I was hurting.

im sure you converted your forward momentum to vertical though when your board hit the water, similar things happen in snowboarding and it hurts like a bitch even in powder

I guess? I lead with my left leg and I was slidding the board past the half way point testing the fins grab points. Will I got ready and went for it. Dipped the front end, put in a little jump with a hip twist and got all the way around but when I landed I think I dug the nose in too much and bit it or a fin grabbed. My friends board has a small fin on each corner. I had already tried 2 times before that but was lucky not to really hit hard but the 3rd time kicked my ass.
