No, I wasn't exaggerating. I think a underground water pipe broke or something like that. The water fountain shot up as high as the billboard. It was quite spectacular. I wanted to take some pictures but too bad they fixed it by the time I came back

They're doing bridge construction by my house and used the WRONG patching material for the trenches they dug to put in conduits. Now they just have cones over the deepest holes in the MIDDLE OF THE LANES!!!! Even in my truck with steel rims, I'm finding another way home today. . .

I am impressed with the PS2 tires. They ran pretty good this weekend when I went to Fullerton. I was going 70 on the freeway without a problem.

Out here in Lancaster it is just one big lake right now.

My parent's X5 Xdrive 35i drives like a champ on the rain, I nearly hydroplaned twice on the Carpool lane at 170N but the thing was SOLID.

On another side note,
I got the TC to light up...

on the X5 lol

There is a crater at the Wilshire Sepulveda intersection right now... if your tire fell into that thing you wouldn't stop dropping until the frame was on the road...

I seriously can't believe some of these pot-holes that have appeared, why does rain turn Los Angeles streets into the moon?

Contractors fill the holes without sufficiently packing down the loose soil before covering them with asphalt. Repaired potholes are known to reappear with rainfall.

Driving to work today on the 57 South was horrible. A semi hydroplaned and smashed into the nearby hill past Diamond Bar. So much low standing water between Diamond Bar Blvd and Lambert Ave feels like I am tram lining the whole way and about to fish tail.

I hit a crater right before I pulled into my driveway tonight. The rim fucking seared the fookin side wall. This is my second tire loss due to a pothole, and trust me - I try to dodge most every one that I see.
Thank god for tire insurance...

Guys, be very careful. Tomorrow is going to be the heaviest downpour yet. Just drive safely and slowly if you can.
