How do you track your ED car to dealer?

I dropped off my ED e92 335i in Bremenhaven on March 15 and it was loaded onto Independence ll headed for New Jersey. Does anyone know how to track a car's progress across the country to the dealership?

try putting the VIN into your Owners Circle account on BMWUSA.com. I don't think that you'll be able to figure out where the ship is on the Atlantic though.

Thanks for the reply. The Owner's circle told me "European Delivery vehicles cannot be tracked on the Owners' Circle after you have taken delivery of the car in Europe because the Owners' Circle only reflects these vehicles until the time they are delivered to the customer. We realize that you want to keep an eye on your new BMW, so the European Delivery Department will send you a letter with the name of the ship and delivery port for your new car. This letter should arrive a few weeks after your car is assigned to a ship and in route to the United States."

I'm assuming my car is already at the port. I want to track it from there to the dealer.

Tracking your car thru Owner Circle stinks, especially if you got your car as ED.
I got my car two weeks ago and Owner Circle still show as it’s in processing center.

Go to Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics sebsite http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp, and then click on Customer Centre, then click on Cargo Tracking. Once you do that look for Auto Cargo on right site of the page, click on that to open next page. On this page you would need to put VIN in Cargo ID box. You will be able to a schedule of the cargo ship, it also will tell you when your car was drop off.
Once it dropped off you can’t really track it. I waited for two weeks and finally I got fed up with calling dealer and BMWUSA and getting “Oh, we don’t know when your car will be delivered to your dealer”. I called BMWUSA and asked for ED department phone number. I called ED department they were able to trace my car and it was at my dealer.

I lost ED department phone number, but you can call BMWUSA and get it from them.

Thanks for the info. The last log on the WW site states it was loaded onto the vessel Independence ll on March 20.
I left a vm message at BMW ED department.

No arrival date listed; not even a departure date listed. Three log entries; booked date, received at terminal date and loaded on vessel date. Maybe the ship sank in the port.
