N55 PURE Stage 2 Turbo Upgrade
Hey guys,
Introducing the N55 PURE Stage 2 -Upgraded Point-Milled Billet Compressor Wheel -Upgraded HiFlow Turbine Wheel -Dual Compressor Oil Seals, Dual Turbine Oil Seals -Large Diameter 360 Thrust Upgrade -Extensive Turbofold Modifications and Machining -VSR Balanced of course -Looks 100% stock when installed, great for dealership visits As previously mentioned: Our Stage 1 customers maintain the option of exchanging for the Stage 2, and receiving purchase price credit towards the Stage 2. Yes, we are building these for gen.1 pneumatic turbos and gen.2 EWG turbos. All N55's early and late model. Yes, you will need additional fueling to reach the power potential of this turbo. A meth kit or port injection is recommended. These high-compression BMW turbo engines need both additional fuel volume and octane to run high boost / high power levels. 435i - 536whp F30 335i - 523whp 135i - 520whp We will continue to update this post with logs, results, media and information. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks guys! Last edited by Pure Turbos; 04-16-2015 at 02:30 PM.. |

Yes, absolutely.
As previously mentioned: Our Stage 1 customers maintain the option of exchanging for the Stage 2, and receiving purchase price credit towards the Stage 2. Example: Bob bought the PURE Stage 1 last year, and paid $995 + $775 core. Bob sent his used stock turbo back, he was refunded the $775 core. Now Bob wants the PURE Stage 2. He buys the Stage 2 for $2500 + $775 core. He sends back his Stage 1, then receives $775 refund for the core, AND $995 for returning his Stage 1. So in the end, the Stage 2 only costed Bob $1505. Bob is so happy... Last edited by Pure Turbos; 02-16-2015 at 08:18 PM.. |

91 or 93 alone is not enough octane to run these high compression motors at high boost. 91 or 93 + meth is a whole other story. We expect some nice power to be available with pump + meth. We can't state any power expectations just yet. Thanks. |

Even on pump there will be some gains. Obviously you can hold boost to redline, but you also get a more efficient compressor and turbine wheel so more power will be made at the same boost levels. The big gains will be at higher boost though.
