Emissions

hey guys,

Just wondering if any of you are running High flow catted downpipes and had any problems with emissions in VA. The reason i bought catted pipes was for emissions, but my friend told me he failed emissions in his A4...

Yes even with high flow cats you can still fail emissions. Even if you hav a tune that takes away the CEL you can still fail the readiness test.

Yes, as the cats age you can fail, mine will no longer pass without a mild sim setting (90% on procede where full catless requires a 50-60% setting).

While there are many factors, particulates could still throw a code in the emissions reader. You'd almost be better swapping them out for the read since we can get it done every two years.
