Anyone getting the Gears of War 3 Xbox 360?

I pre-ordered one having never even played the game before! got talked into it by the guy at GAME lol

well ive recently started playing 2 and quite like it although i think im gna cancel the pre order and just get a normal xbox and play 2 untill i finish this. dont think i can justify the extra £100 for the fancy paintwork and games etc

Quick question for the hardcore gamers here...

im currently borrowing a friends xbox (old style with harddrive at the top) and ive gotten quite into Gears of War 2...

Im about to order my own xbox (new style) and want to move my games performance to my own console.

Is this possible? On the one I am borrowing I just created a new profile before i started playing so it hasnt affected his profile...

Please tell me it is possible because I would not want to start the game again!!

yes, just move the profile using a mem stick for example.

Went into Game on Saturday, one half was covered in Resistance 3, while the other was all Gears of War 3.

Bought Resistance 3 btw.

I remember going through the 2nd one on co-op on hardcore or whatever it was - good co-op game.
