Really? Well that stinks. I just sent an email about how my LED burned out after one year. So I shouldn't expect a new LED let alone a response?

Every time I try to buy something from modmy3 it never goes through. I want to support local but seems near impossible. But if you don't get a response then it's just like buying from ebay.

Both my D1S burned out, and Mike did nothing about it. I was really disappointed, for as long as I've known the guy. Cost me $120 to get another set, when I should have just gotten a warranty replacement. And mine went out inside 4 months.
And for you SD folks, I'm in Mira Mesa. Need a spare set of D1S' now, too, if anyone has em (6000K or 4300K).

Damn that's rough. Seems like modmy3 businesd is really a side part time gig like bartending or waitressing. On a related tangent, I went to tilted kilt for the first time

Yeah I've had a horrible experience with ModMy3, I bought a bumper from them and got it painted straight from the box and it turns out that the bumper was for an e92. They tried to blame it on my shop for not taking it out the box out to verify which model it was and then I had to sell it myself to get more money from it and paint. When I got another bumper from them, it had a window washers, which I don't have. All I hear are excuses from them, trying to divert the blame. Just like Byoung8, I want to support the local BMW businesses, but all they do is disappoint.

As a side note, I am trying to figure out the best way to level my headlights. I feel they're not sitting right (I know how to adjust them, just not sure how to make sure they're level). Additionally, I swear one is slightly turned in, and I don't see an adjustment for that. Quote:

Waddup SD, good news and bad news here....
Good news is that I have a baby boy coming! Bad news is I have to sell my e92 for something bigger. I have a jb4 stage 3 G4 with USB installed with DCI, if anyone is a pro at un-installing I'd hook them up with some cash, I'm in PB right now but will drive close to get it done. I will also sell the jb4 with USB cord and DCI, $350obo so if anyone knows anyone in the market for one of these please let me know. I am going to miss it, the car is a freakin beast with it and I have had no issues whatsoever with codes. Let me know and thanks for all the support on this board! D |

Ouch! Is he/she gonna pay for dent removal? Always wondered why you never back into your spot...get as close to the wall and you should have a ton of room on the other side, easier to get out too

Recommended Detailer
I'm in need of detailing the ride and am tinkling with several options. Can you guys recommend a reputable detailer in SD? Preferably one that's in North County area and not one of those mobile 5-6 hour job detailers either...
Option 1: I could do the paint correction and LSP myself but it's difficult finding the time to do it Option 2: The detail shop could do just the paint correction, clean interior and engine bay. I would do the LSP with either a sealant/wax combo or a nano-coat, and condition the interior myself. (Which I don't mind as I'd have to buy new products anyway for maintenance and I enjoy waxing the ride ) Option 3: The detail shop could do it all for me, but $$$ is tight. TIA...
