Roundels

Has anyone tried these:

Colored Roundel Emblems from Bimmian.com (http://www.bimmian.com/ROU/)

DYNAMIC CARBON 3M DI-NOC: Looks just like real carbon fiber, shimmers at angles in the light - looks almost holographic. This is an overlay on your roundel

Or is it better to get the actual roundel? (http://www.khoalty.com/bmw-roundels-...all-black.html)

Pretty sure if you change the roundel it immediately voids your warranty as the insurance company will argue that you didnt disclose you had a mental retardation when first signing up.

Rai, gotta protect the brand man!

Think of it this way, BMW invest millions in their brand, so like with the anti hoon laws whereby the govt will confiscate your car so to protect the general public, BMW will do the same to protect their brand.

Sounds fair to me, and hey if you want to go all rice there are plenty of poobs and carolla's out there

Don't worry, I won't be touching them. Just wondering if others have? I agree the brand must be protected.

Not sure but i actually got debadged the other day! At least one benefit of having one of these roundels is that you wont have to worry about that happening to you....

Protect the brand..Oh please, funny its exactly, precisely why I changed mine. I wanted a serious drive not a Gucci label, Boys this is why you could be percieved as wankers. Get over the BM thing and enjoy the engineering. God I hate BMs even more now.... and yes I own one and certainly not for the badge!

No not changed brands, but changed the roundel colour. A bit of a one finger salute to the wankery that is BMW.

Love the drive train, hate the pretentious image. So changing the roundels made sense.

Dont Knock the coloured roundels.

Moaning Mexican

Just got a look at the pix on the puta, sweet ride dude. Tell me did you get the full roundel kit or just for the for the wheels and bonnet. Apart from the custom roundel kit and plates any other visual mods?

You seem interested in enhancing the 'machine' and therefore I suspect you will be interested in the cig torch I ordered. When it arrives i'm going to post a complete review, the only down side is it doesn't have the custom roundel but I am sure the ebay seller you got yours from will have one you can stick on, so you can still give the man the finger.

Now your talkin Pavo,

Cig torch sounds interesting. Exterior mods are all in the duco.
I love detailing Bridget.(good german girls name)

Ill post a few more pics, im still building up wax coats but not bad for two, glad you like.
Bridget has a full Msport kit, sills, suspension, steer wheel ad of course body.
Definatley stock, and clean lines ( not a spoiler man, just adds to the wankery))
and some superb coding from Luster, digital speed display.

Just a note too, just like oils aint oils same goes for waxes etc.. I love this hobby)

Need a tip let me know

Oh also, its Bimmian.com for vinyl sticks.
Quality is guaranteed! and the amount of washes Bridget has its testament to their durability.
They go on with some skill but look seamless when theyre on.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with personalising your car. I don't know why you fellas are so serious about 'protecting the brand', what a load of shit.

Not all mods are to everyones tastes, but thats the point of modding in the first place, its about personalisation and changing a stock car to reflect your own personality.

At least those that do mods such as these are individuals and like to express that, those whom keep bone stock cars are sheep! :P

Couldnt have said it better myself Luster!!

Its all good bornadog!, Treatment is for me not for you. I just joined to give a perspective/reply.

It can look quite good if your subtle withyour choice of colour. If the vinyl decals were obvious that is look stuck on Id be the first to rip them off.

If your car is black, personally id go with the graphite colour decals..unless your a slave to the badge

To each his own.

Max likes his coloured badges, but thinks spoilers are wankery...

I think coloured badges are gay, but am thinking of putting on the performance CF spoiler...
