Rey we just put our coils in a month or so ago so we are familiar with the job. Definitely not something you want much help doing, there is enough room under there for one person and that's it lol.

This weekend may or may not be open but if it is maybe we can link up.

Ironically doing springs is even more of a headache for obvious reasons since it all has to be pulled apart but none the less its ok. I wonder if there is any difference from the 2WD to the AWD models as far as steps?

Anyone know what shops are charging for these installs. Hit me up if the other guy can't get it done for ya.

Were you referring to my post? Wasn't sure.

Thankfully Blisstik has been kind enough to offer help in putting my koni/h&r setup next weekend. I'm ecstatic and very grateful to the community on here. Amazing bunch of people always quick to offer help, advice and knowledge.

I will be sure to post a review, photos and step by step for the xi sedan to try to put a nice thread together for others out there. There are good DIY's but not one from start to finish fr this exact car.

Needless to say....I am stoked to be getting these installed and rid my car of the atrocious fender gap and squishy ride.

Cheers!

Thanks for the tip, law! Hope to get more involved with the local community.

After the suspension I'm looking at new wheels and possibly mtech bumper.

Thinking of plasti dipping my window trim. Have had all the stuff sitting around for months but haven't gotten around to it. Sedan makes it kind of a PITA. Got a nice bit of advice from another member and might just give it a go. Can't stand the chrome.

you can dip the chrome trim, or wrap it yourself. it's not hard, just a lot of patience and time consuming. took me 2 hours to wrap my chrome trims look right with matte black.

Man some of these mods can be a total PITA. Was putting in an interior LED kit today and couldn't change out the map lights at all. Just couldn't get a good hold on the bulb with my fingers (I'm looking for someone with smaller ones).

Don't even think I will be attempting the Lux install myself.

I went with a dealer recommended guy out in Elk Grove. He didn't put any tint protector felt and the tint has so many scratches on it after just 8 months or so.

Don't use whoever the Elk Grove dealer recommends. I think there's a couple good ones out on sunrise near the scrap yards.

I went to a guy on old auburn near antelope rd. He did my front sides, not a bad job, they use high quality tint. Not sure what brand but the guarantee no fade or bubbles. It's also uv protection. The trick is finding a guy who can work with the dots on the window. Not sure what's its called, but the first guy I went to had trouble on rear and rear sides. Wasn't sticking that well. Looks bad up close. I can dig up the number if you are interested, he'll give you a god price, he is on his own, so no corporate markup.

^^ yeah up one post, I think that's the same stuff, or similar.

E90 or what?

I think the sedans are the ones that end up with streaking. If yours is good, I might have to retint.

lol I actually need to know a good one too. Got a chronic CEL light on my old car (Corolla) that randomly comes on and goes off without there actually being a problem. Won't pass smog with it on. About to sell it but need to just smog it first.
