Ok Eric, I decided on Michelin Pilot Super Sports. They cost a tad more than Continental DW's, also weight more and lower tread wear. However, all the M3 guys swear by them at the track and on the street. I just read the Tire Rack review of them too.....which sold me.

yes, they are great. if you get used to the bridgestone's stiff side wall, you will need time to get used to the PSS soft sidewall. the soft compound makes the car feels more comfy, but also more road feedback and very sticky onto the road, you will like it =)

Well, that was a bit of a fail.

Got my sides. Hope the color is a solid match. Picked them up late... pitch dark. Thanks Jay for going out your way.

Got my Meth. 10 Gallons. ERC is a solid shop. $3.25 a gallon. Only $3.00 if you buy 16+. I got 10. Hope that'll last me a while.

Then we have Vishnu. Was expecting to swap out my 2.0 to 2.5. By the time I got there, they sent them all out. Sucks. So, I dropped off my 2.0 and asked that they send it asap. Hope it gets to me before Thill. Of course, I also had my fingers crossed for the PMW kit. Again, no luck. Again, hope I get it before Thill.

Just got back from a backpacking trip in Colorado. I managed to scrape up my left leg (shin to knee) pretty badly when sliding down a snow field. Really hope it heals up fast enough for me to make thunderhill, right now clutching is extremely painful...

Looks like their cancellation policy is 1 week, so I may be SOL if i can't drive.
