when i say cutting through the rear deck i mean porting it through the rear deck, ive seen/heard it done on an e46. trust me, it works wonders. as far as infinite baffle goes, thats not an ideal infinite baffle setup.......

I do like the W7 subs. The in home W7 subs are sick. My biggest complaint with W7's in a car is weight. Those things are stupid heavy. I wanted clean powerful bass with as little weight as possible. My whole system so far with 4 amps, 2 15's, the enclosure, the 5x7's and horns all weigh in a little under 100lbs.

All i was trying to say is, you can have powerful bass 146db when needed and still have a trunk.
you do make a good point, and ya im just screwing with you a bit, but im not a fan of infinite baffle boxes, as far as im concerned ported is the only way to go. but i do understand your point about weight, thats the downfall of the W7

ill prob keep the 500/1's i like them a lot...would you suggest getting a yellow top battery in addition to my car battery so i dont drain all the power?? and ill prob switch the 5 farad cap and go with a 1 farad, should be more then enough...i want to do something flat where the speakers are facing the trunk, and have the port hole going to the seats, and have a false bottom with a plexiglass window for my amps so you can see them...something like that...what do you think would look good??
you blew a rear window with 2 w7s on 500 watts each...... guess im doing something wrong or that window was very brittle hahaha

Thats funny considering you had no idea what infinite baffle is and most likely never heard one.

Damn bro. That looks sick.

I didn't know it was possible to wire a meth kit and subs. Curious as to how you wired everything since I'm a newb.
