Hey mate,

here are a few more pics I took of the entire "Nashin Big Brake Kit" during a close inspection of the brake system, following the Eastern Creek track day.

The last pictures our of the front brake system underneath Peter's BMW OE 19" wheel.

Whilst the front caliper clearance is minimal, as Pete reported we found no evidence of any rubbing/scoring of the inner wheel or caliper assembly whatsoever, during the course of the event.

Cheers,

JD.

Pete red only goes with black, come on you know that

Seriously I keep thinking about the brakes but at the same time I keep thinking about some semi slicks and I can't seem to find any in 19's that will fit, which means a set of 18's I guess and that will not do with the big brakes

AFE intake

Well i have fitted up the new AFE inlet system i will do some dyno testing this week,
I have found this system to have great power improvements over the stock airbox, but we will see just how good it really is very soon

Time for some love

During the Christmas time out i gave the old girl a good go over, i feel bad as this is the first time i have had the polish out for this car, having now owned it for a year god time fly's.

Stuart from BMR dropped of a few parts just prior to Christmas, we now have ready for fitting a complete Msport body kit, a complete black line window trim kit, a set of black rims, and a set or AR dumps.

My home detail came up OK but there are some swirl marks that will need the work of a pro. But she shines up OK for me, black is such a pain never again i keep saying this but after 6 black cars i am over the work. White is the go form now on

I still totally enjoy driving the car it still surprises me with the low down performance and the pace you can make without trying, these cars can be a real license burner.
After the last Putty Road run i really do enjoy this car, the mods and current suspension setup feels just great and very predictable for a spirited drive up a twisty road.

2013 i will go with Pav and do the odd track day long over due.

Took some pictures as it will be some time before the next polish

New laptop having a little issue with the picts

I have always loved my black cars, but i must say im enjoying the space grey! Being a neat freak you have to wait too long for it to get dirty in comparison to black.

White has its own issues, its a bastard to colour match if you wish to add a lipkit etc

The new mods shall look great!
