Arrow Coilover Installation -- Have you done your own? How much at Garage? Where in N.West?

Hey guys

After watching the ECS Tuning video on how to fit coilovers I'm wondering whether or not to attempt this myself with the car jacked up.

Has anyone else installed their own Coilover kit? How long did it take?

Otherwise, how much did it cost to get your coilover kit fitted?

Can anyone recommend a reliable garage in North West to perform such a job?

Thanks

There are 2 well known BMW specialists in the NW which I know off - hinds in Sandbach or David Paul in Warrington.

Both will no doubt be able to fit them for you.

Should have gone to Darren Wood BMW in Stockport, but I'm sure Martins are ok.

Remember you will need a proper 4 wheel specialist alignment immediately afterwards.

Photos are not reliable for drops, Before fitting, park on flat ground, Measure from the middle of your wheel centres straight up to the wheel arch lip, write it down for each wheel.

Then repeat after fitting, that will give you the accurate drop and make sure they are setup ok left to right.

Dammit. We've hit problems, should have been given droplinks with the coilover kit I bought. The droplinks on my E90 don't match up....

Does anyone know of anywhere you can get adjustable or shortened ones?

Are there no brackets on your coilovers to accept the drop links?

Standard ones should be fine.

The guys are saying the OEMs won't fit. I've had to order some direct from Germany:

Would be a Bank Holiday weekend
