I make between 800-850 to the wheels so I guessed a super conservative 900 to the crank, but if I did what most do for E46 M3s and calculated about 15% drive loss I guess i'd be about 950-1000hp at the crank?

Lawrence and I both have the same turbo,.. we run different fuels, fuel systems, i have a bored under/sleved block, his is bored over I believe, and different EMS's.. He runs AEM w/110L + Meth, I run just E85. However I spoke with Lawrence on the phone and it looks like he may only be on pump and meth down there, so making like 700 or so to the rear wheels. Vic (Tazam3) might be showing up, and if he does.. that would be the guy you'd want to pick a race with.. his E46 M3 has something being done to it that he won't share.. but rumor has it it could be putting down 1400rwhp.

Realistically though our E46 m3's are only good to about 700-750rwhp for traction, so he'd better bring some slicks or a widebody
Awesome thanks for appeasing me! I will even buy one of those Go Pro things to see how fast you pass me. I presume you would lag at 3rd gear/ ~50 mph with a big turbo, correct? But if you are already in boost then it would just be rediculous for me to even try.

50mph in 3rd would put me probably somewhere around 3500rpm-4000rpm IIRC. Top of second for me is 60mph at about 8000rpm. But yes, I'll be lagging.

Those are much much better stats, I think everyone will be happy.

edit: Except for the gas issue. I think I'll be investing in a couple 5 gallon cans.

edit edit: Only thing that seems to suck is it looks like there is less room and there is only one way in and out of the actual straightaway. Out of curiosity, have you actually checked out the airport in person?

Yes, we've walked the grounds ourselves. There is much more area for parking, griding, loading/unloading trailers, etc.

At our original location we literally only had an airstrip and a dinky side road. Here we have a lot of open space which is nice.

Not to mention there is much more room to get up to speed before hitting the "go" cone. Not to mention DOUBLE the braking zone. The original place was cutting it a little close and you would have had to scurry to get up to speed before the hit.

Overall, it is a much better fit. Not to mention the lower elevation and downward slope (as opposed to uphill in the way we would have to run at the previous location) will allow cars to run better

Yep, we're open to spectators as long as they came with a registered driver. There isn't a lot of room and for safety concerns it is not open to general spectators. As long as you come with a registered driver, you can watch of course. But we can't have random guys showing up in their own cars just wanting to hangout. We just don't have the room for it.
