It's the performance tune. But they just estimate HP gains, I don't think they dyno tune all their stuff.

Just a quick question - is the Powerchip tune you use somehow specific beacuse of the conversion or is it safe to assume that any 330i tune (from G-Power for example) will do the job?

It should work with any tune. Just tell them exactly what your situation is. It should not be a problem.

What would this do for a 328i? I would guess the bulk of the performance difference comes from DI, but this has to be good for a little bit..

The onboard computer shows about 1-2mpg increase.

so let me get this straight: the manifold is a direct swap for 325? and should pick up about 8hp without the software and around 30hp with the 330 software?

also i wonder how the 325 stock ecu with bms pbx would hold up. i know its supposed to make your air fuel ratio a bit richer (like 330 software), could compliment the manifold really well

if you stay stock 325 the powerbox will give you about 8 hp and 8 tq. give or take. the main thing you will notice is the increased throttle response. which, believe me, is completely worth it. plus the added hp and tq aint bad either

I'm a little confused as well. Can the intake be done without the software? Or does this all need to be done in conjunction? It might be easier to do this in stages (or at least easier to get spousal approval).

+1 on the 328, if it works for the 3 shouldn't it work for the 1 as well?
