Chassis is Faulty. Help!
In following the NCS DIY, I reach the step 38 where I load the chassis and I keep getting "Error Chassis is Faulty" when select E89. I have a '10 335xi, so I'm assuming I'm selecting the correct chassis. I have updated the daten to 48.1, then to 49 and still no luck. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: I should note that I've done quite a bit of looking around but nothing out there is easy to follow. I consider myself a highly technical person that can normally figure this kind of thing out within minutes, but for some reason, NCS Expert is becoming a pain in my ass. I was able to do the Alpina TCM flash with no problem, so I don't think it's anything to do with the cable. Last edited by The Die; 08-12-2013 at 10:02 AM.. |

Ok, so I figured this out. It was a software issue. I ended up downloading the software from this thread rather than using Standard Tools 2.12 and was able to code the window roll up from key fob.
I was following the NCS DIY.pdf and I don't see "BC_DIGITAL_V" anywhere in the file. I need to do some more digging. EDIT: Figured it out... Last edited by The Die; 08-13-2013 at 12:50 PM.. |

I did notice that I had some problems and had to update the data files to do the CIC module. When I tried to do another module afterwards, I was getting errors. Luckily, I backed up the 3 directories before I updated the data directories. Now, I just need to get WinKFP working again so I can do the Alpina flash as well as the other coding for other people! |
