Snow tires on, new rims
Just mounted up my snows on a set of dedicated rims. I got a good deal on these replicas in a 17x8 size all around with a 38 offset. I am running a 215-45 LM 22 Blizzak as I like a narrow tire in the snow. They ride better than the runflats but squirm on warm, dry pavement. 4 months of snow  I gotta move south.
I got three coats of Zaino on to help make it through the next few months of sand and salt. Tried their new Fusion product. It removed every scratch, swirl, and haze. This stuff is made for black paint. Don't use it too often though, it is an abrasive. |

Looks sharp. You need to get the M labels for the inset on the rims. You can get them at bavarian autosport.
Part # : 36 11 2 228 660 $ 4.95 each

You can get Zaino at the Barbers Chair in the new Vaughan Mills Mall. Saves having to do the mail order thing.
I got the wheels through Burlington Tire Sales. My invoice lists the wheel as a BMW FA32. I think they may be from a company called Fast Wheels. If you go/call there speak to Dave or Bert and they can help you out. I wouldn't doubt that they have an 18 or even 19 inch application. |

Wow! those rims looks nice!
I ordered this rim from EXTREME TIRE on YONGE north of Elgin Mills , with BRIDGESTONE LM-22 , dropping down to 16" for 205/55/16's for the winter. They were cheap.

4NROOTS, did you used to drive an IS300, blue I believe? If so I met you once at a meet in Toronto. I used to have a black IS300 and live in Stoney Creek.
Anyways, the rims were pretty cheap but only becasue I do all my corporate business there. Call it cashing in a favour. Given that I really don't want to publish the price because I know they won't sell them that low normally. Figure on $200/ea but that is just a rough idea. icedragon, they just got this design on Friday. I didn't even get to see them before they went on, just took a chance. Worked out pretty good. For those who asked, they are available in 18x8, 18x9, 19x8, and 19x9 or so the internet says. Not sure on the offsets. My rears need about a 10mm spacer to look right but I will keep them tucked in for the winter to keep the rock chips down. |

Robbie, those where the rims I was going for and then they told me to try a flush multi-spoke because it would look better on the E90. It was for winter so I really didn't care that much and the F46 is a good looking wheel for the price. They had me wait until they got some new stock in so they could show me.

Wow...what a coincidence....nice memory man. That was definitely back in the day. I seem to remember a nice cruise we had along Yonge street and on the 401. The IS300 was a hot car at that time, i remember we got a lot of stares from envious onlookers. My IS got totalled about 2 years after that meet, since then have had a G35 coupe, 325i and a FX45. the E90 is definitely my favourite so far (even though the G coupe had a killer exhaust note). How do you like your car? sounds like we have the same colour this time! here are some pics i think you may have sent me from the meet...and one of the old IS...it was a fun car to drive!

Robbie, I am pretty sure they are Fast Wheels from the part number.
4NROOTS. I thought that was you. Yeah, the IS was hot back then. Out history is way too close for comfort. My IS was wrecked about 2 1/5 years ago. I got a FX35 to replace it, still have it and love it. I picked up a M Roadster for my wife which we just sold for the 325. I looked at a new IS but after driving a BMW for over 2 years we wanted nothing else. Here is a pic of our Roadster before we sold it. |

BLK325, might I suggest some wheel locks?
I know those are just your winter rims, but that design is hot and might still catch the attention of theives.
