Best tint?

Hi,

what tint company/foil is the best? 3M? Llumar? I know YMMV, but I'd like to have some input...

So far I'm convinced on going 3M.

Huper Optik has the best heat rejection hands down.

Is anyone getting scratches on their Huper Optik from the windows going up and down? I am and it's driving me batshit.

Tint is always subjective. Overall, the best tint is ceramic, either F1 Pinnacle or Huper. I'm sure others may disagree.

As for the Huper scratching when the windows go up and down, I'm not sure about that. I've had Huper before, and didn't experience any scratches. One reason could be that the Huper tint is pretty thick so maybe it's rubbing too hard with windows going up/down???

I've had Huper before, and currently have F1. Loved both.

I've heard good things about Llumar as well. F1 Pinnacle is a bit more pricy but since they are owned by the same company I would think that both of them are good choices along with the Huper Optik. I don't know anyone with 3M tint so I dont know how good that tint is

What you mentioned above about the scratches n such...That's what makes me NOT get my 328 tinted. I scheduled an appointment to get my car done, and pulled out at the last momment. It would drive me CRAZY if I was getting scratches in the tint...or for some reason it got dirty behind the tint or something.

Also, quick question...When they tint your door windows...Do they take the door apart? Or do they just do it as is.

Thanks...

3M is one of the best, but it come down to what you want it to look like. my 3M is more of a black and my friend's ceramic is more of a grey/green.
