Dude thats awesome, you're one of like 12 people I talked to in the past month with no problem.
However its worth mentioning map 7 is nothing to cal home about in terms of enough boost... There are some people that found problems only on race maps.

But I think a lot Oh people are complaining about bog without trying to adjust it first
I would willing to believe that me and themyst alone probably datalogged upwards of 3 dozen logs to dial in the bog fix. Maybe more.

There are 4 kinds of Jb3 users

One that dont bog from the start
One that bogs and its fixed
One that bogs and there is no fix
And then there is automatics which live the dream.

Narrow down all Jb3 users into one classification would be impossible.
I would venture to say there might be a fix eventually for some if they havnt found it. But some people dont want to go down the highway at 120+ to log it 45 times for the 3-4 shift to see if it bogged.

For those that dont want to do that... there are other solutions.

I never bogged Map 7, it's Map 9+. Every car is different which is making me believe its DME software related. I would guess since mine and JP's cars are very close to build date, we have the same DME version? Then there's boostedcosta who has a 2010 E90 who's never bogged at all.

Change the taper setting to 50-62, bogfix to 50 on the latest firmware, tweak to your liking from there.
It was changed recently 100% is now what the old 40-50% used to be. The suggested starting setting is 100% if you want to play around with it. There is a lot in the works for the JB3 in the coming months that will take care of any manual transmission guys who still have the issue. Until then if you don't want to play with settings just shift a bit slower on the 3->4.

Boostedcosta bogs, I know this for a fact, and could show you a video of it.

First you say this.....

Then you say this....

So the way i read this, if your 100 is the old 40-50, why tell memebers to update to the 4/22 firmware and try 100? Its the same thing, so it will give the same results. so memebers with bogging issues, are now going to waste their time and attempt these 100+mph shifts for what? Its the same thing.

Bringing this back...

I recently had a HPFP put in and 2 new vanos solenoids. They updated my software and I-Drive, I'd assume to 37.2 ?

I put catless downpipes in and the JB3 back in (updated to the 4/22/10 firmware) and put it on map 5 with all default settings. Bog is completely GONE. Throwing it into 3rd gear from the top of 2nd surges the car forward. Really feels great, I'm super happy! Meth time soon.
