New oem turbos or Vargas oem?

My left turbo wastegate is stuck open and have been told I need new turbos. I can get new oem turbos and all gaskets for $1417 for the pair or should I go Vargas oem? Not looking for more power , just longevity and don't want the WG rattle back. Does anyone know what exactly the updated oem turbos have different vs my 2007 turbos? Please chime in.

The Vargas OEM turbos have the solution to the rattle, so they will never rattle like stockers. If you go BMW OEM, they will rattle again, it'll just be a question of how long it'll take.

My .02 is to use the VTT.

Would like to hear more about the Vargas stage 1s. Not a lot of end user reviews so far.

I would go with a Stage 1 at least. It will solve your problems and give the car a nice little bump in power.

It would be great to hear from someone with the Vargas oem replacements or stage 1's fitted. I like many others on here love the quick spool of oem turbos but would like a little more reliability.

Not everyone here is looking for 550whp / 550 wtq and the associated hardware issues..

Just purchase the stage 1s with thrust and billet wheel upgrade. As soon as they are on I'll report back. My mods are bms intakes, vrsf dp, vrsf ic, vrsf charge pipe with tial bov, jb4 g5

Hey Ace. I am sure I won't be the only FBO, or non fbo guy for that matter, looking out for your review..

also let us know how you found the delivery time and general quality of service. I'm sure you have seen the chatter around the place about that.

I purchased VTT stage 2 w/ upgraded thurst and billet wheel. I luckily bought the last pair of the stage 2's he had at the time. My turn around time was roughly 2 weeks. 1 week and half for build and the rest shipping time. Tony replies quick! Within hours most times but if not within 24 hours.
