Help misfire!!!

So i just recently changed my valve cover gasket and spark plugs and now im getting missfire in cylinder 3 i swapped coils , and sparks plug and still at cylinder 3 . any suggestion please ?
should i swap fuel injectors? and if i do do i have to re code them ?

2011 BMW 335is  [9.50]
Try pulling your cylinder 3 plug and seeing if it has fuel on it. Mine was black, wet, and smelled like gas when the injector went bad.

yes it was pitch black when pulled out. didnt get a chance to smell it though. was it the fuel injectors?

If it smells like gas, that should be the injector. Normally black indicates that the cylinder is running rich (too much fuel) which is a byproduct of the leaky injector. It could have oil on it from a valve cover gasket issue, so the smell should be the clear indicator.

That's what I meant by the 10yr/120k campaign, it's the recall by BMW NA. You can check your vin on http://www.bmw-rp.com/production/isg...bmw_portal.nsf.

Not sure if you can do a straight swap on the injectors with or without programming, I just brought it in for the warranty coverage.

Note, they did try to sell me the walnut blast before they went after the "recall", I had recently done it, so they couldn't try to stick me with it.
