Im considering fitting the F30 M performance brakes on my E91.
In the front at least since its a direct bolt on thing.

But I am told that due to the number of pistons the feel in the brakepedal can be a more soft than now.

An I started thinking, if tahts a problem with the OEM parts, what do ppl do with the BBK kits with even more pistons=request for more flow in the master cylinder?

Any one changed anything on their mastercylinder when fitting BBK kits to ensure the right firm pedal feel?

I did not change the master cylinder when I installed a Brembo BBK (front and rear), and like you I had the same concern. The area of the pots on the Brembo (380mm) kit is even more than the F30 M performance brake kit and I certainly lost the firm pedal feel of the OEM (stock) brakes. However, I have come to like the fact that my brakes are now much easier to modulate (and it has substantially improved my consistency at the track) and yet they are still stiff enough for my street driving tastes. I would now estimate "firmness" to be about 80% (maybe 85% ?) of the stock brakes.

After installing my bbk Ithe pedal also feels weird like it doesnt engage until its pressed in more than half way.... I bled the brake several times and there's no air..

I installed stoptech st60 and st40 on my 335 and the pedal travel is further. Stops like a champ.

Maybe an m3 master cylinder will help. From what i read some people have said they lost some pedal feel and some have said they haven't. m3 master cylinder flows more then the 335i one so i would think that would help.

Bmw really messed up with the look of the calipers they perform great but i find it funny even old Mercedes C class have monoblock designs and drilled rotors from factory and me and my friends e90 m3 are rocking honda civic looking calipers.

This can't be right. Maybe stupid question but did you bleed all 8 valves? (Did you forget the 4 on the inside?)
