162s on a non-zsp 335 e90
So, Swoop and I are talking, and I'm thinking of buying his girlfriend's 162s for my car.
I did some forum searching and found that at least a couple of people say that without the zsp suspension, the car looks a little too tall if you just add the 18-inchers. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Also, it's only logical that her 162s would be staggered (18X8 front, 18X8.5 rear), right? (Swoop suggests I ask here, and why not start a thread?) |

John, this is my car on non-ZSP with 18" staggered...not 162s but you get the idea. As you can see the gap is not too bad. Iirc there are more pics on the subject around the threads.

Thanks, General.
I looked at some other photos on other threads, and I thought they looked pretty good. Your car looks fantastic. If I get to buy Swoop's woman's wheels, I guess I can stay stock. But, again, I have this feeling I'll be putting Spool on speed-dial. |

John, 162s are an awesome choice, perfect match for the E90...I think you'll be happy with that setup for some time. You'll get the itch to do the springs and other mods the more you hang out with us though...
Stay away from ase2dais, I was happy with my ride height/setup but he sold me on the pro-kit drop

you still have to buy in on H&R Sway bars and NonRFT tires to complete the transformation. But take your time, I know I am, long enough to see the Turbos drop in price and first buyer-depreciation.. And we'll snag these babies at bargain prices HAHAHA!

Can you fill me in here or on PM about what I should expect to pay for top-quality sway bars plus labor? And is it a horrible pain to do 'em, as I've heard? |

all i can say is you'll love the rims compared to whatever you have on right now..... i've wanted to get new rims, but can't part with the image of how great these rims look on an e90

But the 162s are just magical on an e90. My neighbor has them on a titanium silver 330, and I just walk by and stare at 'em every day. She never seems to drive her car, either. What a waste. Say! That gives me an idea .... Bwaaahahahaah! |

Great idea, and I'd prefer that to sellling them, but I don't have storage space.
I guess I could *rent* space. |
