Nice quality suspension setup dude!

Seems to be quite a lot of 320-330s that modify suspension pretty hard. But do you need it with that 'little' hp?

Is that an OEM BMW color?

How the hell can you POSSIBLY know that by looking at 1 pic? I'm sure it's on coilovers that handle better than your lame-ass M-sport suspension.

That's the beauty of coils. Slam 'em for a hot ass photo shoot, crank 'em back up to drive away after the shoot.

How do I know? Because I know the E91 suspension inside out, and at that ride height it's sitting on the bumpstops, which will completely f.up the car. I'm talking about that picture, not when it has been raised afterwards.

Lame ass M-sport suspension? That's my Le-mans Blue E91 above with Ohlins DFV fitted, which is regularly run on the Nurburgring.

Are you serious, when did you need lots of HP to utilise decent suspension?

You'll be much faster with lower HP and quality, well set-up suspension than high HP and a crap chassis!

And anyway, it's my daily runabout/shopping/tow car, if I want to go fast I take out the Evo!

Of course I understand that. What I mean is that I dont really get why people buy a 320 and put down serious time and money on suspension other than lowering for looks.

Anyways, I admire your nice setup.

You don't need to spend money just to lower the car, cheap lowering springs would do that. Everything spent is to improve the handling and grip, high quality dampers, custom rate swift springs, M3 components, lightweight wheels to lower unsprung weight and awesome Pilot Super Sport tyres.

Our roads in the UK are very bumpy and the standard M-sport set-up is appalling IMHO. With the mods I have carried out, the car is absolutely transformed, and now a pleasure to drive. Completely composed and controlled on tight, twisty bumpy back roads, and very compliant and comfortable.

And last time I checked, there was a 3 litre engine under the hood!

Maybe your roads are a bit more bumpy than ours then. Why don't get a 335 and mod it instead? We all have different views regarding this matters

I advise you to start of with just a COBB AP and you'll be hooked by the cars true potential

It's really nice and very shiny on the pictures!!

I can see I need to do something about my car, it's not as shiney as some of the ones here.
Regarding suspension, where have you found your Öhlins?
I have a set of Eibach pro's and have a plan of getting a set of Bilstein B6-10 shocks to go with them. And some of the bushings have been changed to Powerflex instead of M3 parts. I'm getting there

totally agree

I was thinking JB4 / Cobb, I think both will do the job.

I was initially thinking of some eibach pro springs, then I think coilovers seems a better choice! which ones are you thinking of getting ?

I bought the car to tow my race car, and found the chassis pretty bad as standard, so decided to sort it out.

I also wanted a manual gearbox, so a 335D was out of equation.

I didn't buy the car to drive fast in a straight line, but I still want to have some fun on the twisties.

If your paint is dull, you probably need some correction to remove the scratches before some decent wax or sealant protection.

Ohlins was purchased from a dealer in the UK.

Depending on your preference, Koni yellow shocks will be allow adjustment for a more comfortable ride than the Bilsteins.
