No food in my e90 I actually bought the OEM cargo organizer for to-go foods ... highly-recommended, everything holds in place

emergencies only. for example, last week i took my girl to the opera. she didn't have time to eat and we were already running late so we picked up a drive-through order which she consumed in the car while going to the opera. i wasn't too happy about it but i'm not gonna pull any crap about caring for my car when i know there is just no other way. she knows, however, she'd be dead cleaning any mess she might cause.

I'm with Vlad on this one. If there's a way to avoid it I will, but if I do have to eat in the car I usually try to pick something that won't make a mess.

The question is: What would you say if someone asked if they could eat inside your 2006 BMW. Not if you ate in your 2006 BMW.

Cofee? That's even worse, IMO, from new car smell to Foldgers

Sometimes McDonald's, morning or night, coffee in a travel mug, the kids eat granola bars in the back sometimes, I eat chips sometimes...

I don't often have riders apart from my family, but if they were hungry I'd let them eat.

It all wipes up or vacuums up, and the smell goes away with a good shot of leather cleaner on the seats and Windex on the windows.

It's a car, not an operating room.

I very rarely eat in my car but when I do I'm extremely careful. However, my policy is that no one other than myself can eat in my car. If it's water, that's okay.

Food is a no-no. Drinks I'll decide on a case-to-case basis. And even then it depends on how thirsty you are.
