Need Advice on Tires for 2006 325xi

Good Evening Gents,

Just had a quick question and I'm having a hard time deciding which tires to get. What all seasons tires should I get and why? I've fully decided to go with the NON-RFT's due to a smoother, quiter, and overall better ride. Although, I've been reading newer RFT's made by Michelin absolutely kick Continentals ass versus OEM standards that came with the car.

Any recommendedations for a great set of 205/55-16's RFT or NON-RFT ... or should I get better traction by going with a 215... or 225?

Price isn't exactly an issue, but would like to keep it lower as it's a 325xi, not an M6.

The wider the tire the more traction. But regarding what will is ideal for the car and what will fit, ideally you'll want to stick as close to your OEM sizes. 215's is a good choice if you want to size up.

Regarding all-seasons, they'll perform better in wet and snow conditions but won't give you as much grip/performance as summer tires. Also, all-seasons generally have a longer tread life compared to summer tires because of the rubber compound. So you can gauge what will work for you with the weather you experience and your driving style. I hope this helps.
