I didn't use a clean sweep. One thing I noticed is that I have a loud hissing sound that comes on after I unlock the car. I put gains down but doesn't help. It didn't do it before when just the amp was installed. Any ideas?

Could be a bad connection. Could be the ground wire. Could be speaker wire running next to power wire. Could be a lot of things.

Just as late Aug 2016 love the speakers JL C5-400. Also using Tweeters JL ZR. The sound is great and no need to upgrade sub. Thinking of upgrading to Dynaudio which are my fav but I would keep this set up.
