Anyone else buy from RFSupplier for combox cables?
I got everything I need for my combox retrofit, all i'm waiting for are the FAKRA cables for the combox, and I've ordered them from rfsupplier on January 15th, they shipped the 16th, and it's the 30th today with the tracking still saying
"Processed Through Facility SHENZHEN EMS, CHINA" Anyone else ordered from them before for their combox and what not? How long is this shipping supposed to be, it's been 2 weeks already.. |

shoulda bought 'merican. JK haha hopefully it shows up. It often takes me 3-4 weeks to get stuff from the people's republic. eBay seems to be faster. |

Where can you find OEM fakra cables? I had no idea I can get them in oem, I bought Fakra Z to Fakra Z (for bluetooth antenna) and dual fakra z to double B for the GSM (which doesn't work anyway but it makes it look complete)

BMW Assist is dead for 2G comboxes so you do not need the double barrel GPS antenna. I just rip the plastic retaining clip off the BT antenna and friction fit it into the combox. I never had an issue with the 5 comboxes I have sold.

As a note, my rfsupplier cables took about 25 days, give or take.
I ordered a pair of 1.5 meter cables, one Z to Z, and one D to D, with the intention of hooking up both from an Evo to the oem e9x bluetooth antenna (using one BT antenna for BT, and another BT antenna for wifi, since the frequencies are... close enough). EDIT: At least I think it is the company you're referring to. One cable came from "rfsuppliers" on ebay, the other from "rfconnectivity" on ebay. But they're definitely the same company and have the same return shipping address. Last edited by vilord; 01-30-2019 at 02:28 PM.. |
